NOWHERE and HERE
Long deep dubs hold all the space and time necessary for moving in flow. I use Ableton Live, a nonlinear playground, a Music Man StingRay bass, handheld Earth Drum, Festival Djimbe, an Arturia MIDI Controller for finger drumming, keyboard and automation, Seashell and Bamboo Wind Chimes, Brass and Glass Singing Bowls, recorded samples with Samplers and my freestyle vocals.
FEELS LIKE RITA is a blend of many influences. The roots are from years of listening to Sade, Tribe Called Quest, Queen Latifah, Mac Miller, Naughty by Nature, Sugar Minott, Bob Marley, Les Paul and Mary Ford, MOOG Music, Satie, Nino Rota, Yoko Ono, The Beatles, Tosha, Cibbo Matto, Thievery Corporation, ELO, YES, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Barry White, Etta James and John Mayer.
